Maine Home and Design Feature

Big thanks to Maine Home and Designfor the full page feature of our event this past fall. A great holiday present to stumble on yesterday when buying bread in Wiscasset. They sent Amanda Kowalski to chronicle the event and she did a great job capturing the sale. Go grab the magazine off the new stands or order it online to see it for real.

These two guys are larger pots. The platter is about 16 inches across and the vase maybe 20 inches tall. Both shot well, i think. The brush was working that day. You Know Me

Or you don't, because i never post. Either way, these three pots plus two others are getting shipped to Iowa for Akar Gallery's annual Yunomi Invitational. They were shot recently by the talented Jay York, of Portland, Maine. This huge online sale requires months of preparation to lead up to an orgiastic few hours of online shopping. Of course this may be old news, if you are browsing a pottery blog...
Nevertheless, it was really nice to be invited this year. Victories can be few and far between for a working artist, and it felt real nice to get the invite. More pictures to come...And we are nearing the 100th post...It will get here eventually. That's a blog promise.
